Il Castoro also offers the opportunity for guests to come for the day, with a charming lawn and picnic area on the shores of the lake. Amply shaded by the magnificent poplars guests can relax in the hammocks or use the tables provided, whilst deckchairs and sun loungers are available for hire.

A soothing and relaxing atmosphere prevails – so close to Rome, but worlds away from the stress and chaos of the city. It is the perfect place to escape for a day of swimming, sunbathing, peace and quiet and good food. There is a small, independently-run restaurant offering a barbeque lunch, cake, coffee, tea and more, with rustic wooden tables on the lake shore. The owners also hire out paddle boats for their guests.
